Football Upsets, Camo Trick Plays and Politics in Sports

This past weekend has been considered as one of the greatest college football weekends ever in sports circles and this week on the Girls on the Sideline pod, Lindsay and Whitney discuss in depth why many sports fans are deeming it as such. Today, the girls discuss the rise and fall of the number two, three, and four ranked teams, and how the fall of these teams may affect the rest of the college football season. The girls also discuss the quirky, ridiculous, and funny trick play that occurred during the Kansas vs Iowa State game this weekend.

Did Kansas plan for that to happen??

Lastly, although the girls never talk politics on the show ? this past week being election week, they simply couldn’t resist the urge. Lindsay and Whitney discuss the uncharacteristic 6-minute discussion that Greg Popovich had with a sideline reporter last week regarding his opinion on the election.

Between politics, crazy sports plays, and the “Magic Cup Game” of college football rankings, this week ? and the weeks to follow ? will give the girls a lot to talk about.
